Boy, am I in the wrong place. LiveJournal is geared to writers, journalers, and communities. Writers write. Right? Well, I don't. Much as I've always wanted to create stories, I don't seem to have the drive to finish them. And journalers journal. Yikes: my journals--paper or otherwise--usually get an entry or two a *year,* if that. And communities commune. Me? Other than my sister, I have no close friends. Online friends? Well, lots of acquaintances on professional discussion groups, and a few I really like and/or respect but most of them hardly know I exist (read on for why). But I most definitely AM a reader. When it comes to interacting with people online, I'm a natural lurker...at least until I think somebody else is getting slammed unfairly, when I might, if nobody else speaks up, come out of my shell long enough to give the offender a piece of my mind. Then back to lurkdom. Anyway, just pretend I'm not here...
